Job Title: RN PACU Pediatrics
Location: Children's Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension)
Shift: 10 x 4 Hour Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Pay Details:

Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $65.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,340.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $26.89
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $968.04
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,371.96
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $67.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,412.00
Position Overview:
A leading healthcare facility in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse to support recovery care for pediatric patients undergoing MRI and related procedures. This role is ideal for candidates with Level I pediatric experience who thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric PACU for patients recovering from anesthesia.
Monitor patient vitals and recovery status, ensuring safety and comfort.
Document patient responses and update care plans as needed.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products per provider orders.
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Offer clear communication and education to patients and families.
Participate in scheduled on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 1 year RN experience, preferably in a Level I pediatric setting.
Active Oklahoma RN license or multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association).
Strong clinical judgment, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
