We are seeking a highly experienced NGL IT Consultant with deep expertise in Quorum, P2 products, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) industry, with a proven ability to analyze complex business challenges and implement technology-driven solutions. This role focuses on requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and ensuring seamless operations through advanced systems knowledge and production support expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, focusing on NGL processes such as nomination and scheduling.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Quorum and P2 products, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Write and execute advanced SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex business challenges, providing actionable technology solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for NGL industry terminology and processes, ensuring technical solutions meet business needs.
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, adapting to evolving priorities.
- Provide production support for Quorum and P2 products, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or IT Consultant in the oil and gas industry, specifically within the NGL sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Quorum and P2 products.
- Strong understanding of NGL industry terminology and business processes, such as nomination and scheduling.
- Advanced SQL query-writing skills for analysis and reporting.
- Proven experience in software/systems implementation and optimization.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in a production support environment, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of database security protocols and performance optimization.
